I did tip us to win but even in my wildest dreams no way would I have put it at 69 points.

I think they did their homework well. Shut down Fevola and Judd and restrict Betts and the rest of the team have nowhere to go

Well, considering I tipped carlton by 3 points, I am just a tad surprised yes!! i didn’t bother to watch the game (yay delayed telecasts….) so i no idea what the hell went wrong with the mighty blues…

Yes i was very surprised. It was an entertaining first half but we blew the match apart in the second. I said pre-game that the match will be won in the midfield, and in the second half we did that.
Great ruck work from Ryder provided space for Welsh and Prismall to win the clearances.
Missed shot at goal from Carlton set us up with run from the backline all the way inside 50 and a shot at goal.

Big % booster for the Bombers, the run home to finals begins now.

Yes very surpised.. got no idea what happened in the second half. I rekon that Ratten was most definitely outcoached by Knights.. this would have had to have played a major factor in the loss.
Im not saying it was all of ratten’s fault.. but he has to take some of the blame after a very even first half . In the 2nd half the Blues were outsmarted, outrun and beaten in all aspects of the game.. credit must go to Knights and the essendon players
